Remote Online Notarization

Virginia became the first U.S. state to legalize remote online notarization (RON) in 2011, allowing people to meet with a notary via audio-video technology and notarize documents remotely. The state of Ohio legalized RON in 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic, which restricted us to our homes, saw that RON was the best way to notarize documents without risking the spread of the disease, and many more states began to adopt the practice out of necessity.

I make use of remote online notary platform SigniX to perform notarizations remotely. You will send the documents to masoncdelong@outlook.com, I will use SigniX to prepare the documents, then we will join each other in a Zoom call. The prepared documents will be emailed to you, you will verify your identity, you will sign, and then I will notarize. Easy. And you don’t even need to be in Ohio at the time of signing! As long as I’m in the state I can notarize it.

Online notarizations cost $25 for the notarial act + $10 technology fee.  I accept Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, and Venmo for payment. If you need a notarization done, find my contact info here or my booking calendar here.
